TPN promoting “An Inconvenient Truth”
I just saw Al Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” at my local cinema and it had a huge impact on me. I started asking myself what we could do at TPN to help promote the film. We’ve got ~300,000 listeners and I want to do what I can to help spread the word. The obvious way is to place an ad for it on each of our shows. I’m going to start doing it and I’ve invited my TPN co-hosts to join me.
Other things each of you can do:
- subscribe to the film’s blog to keep up to date with news about climate change
- If you’ve got a blog, get a promotional widget from the films’ website
- go to site’s like “Easy Being Green” to learn more about what you can do to become carbon neutral

Hey Cam, I tried to use the widget on the next episode of The Global Geek Podcast and it failed to work. I tried both the Java Script version and the plain HTML version and it was a no go with both.
Do you know where we can get a logo or something? Or shall I make one?

Brenton, so the “other side” I need to look for is the one that says “killing the planet quickly is good for us!”. Sure thanks. I’ll keep a balanced view on that one.
Or am I missing something?
