Ian Dixon just met Bill Gates

Ian’s the host of TPN’s Media Center Podcast and he’s currently at CES in Vegas. And he just got to chat with Bill Gates for the first time. I remember meeting Bill for the first time back in the day. It’s a pretty heady experience if you tell yourself you are standing there chatting with the richest guy in the world and arguably the most successful businessman in history.

    I see from AAP that Tracey Fellows is Microsoft’s new Australian MD. What happened to your campaign for Frank?

    Is she really?? Wow. The word I heard is that they were going to bring someone in from the outside. But she’s only been there a few years and I know Steve had a lot of respect for her. A shame though. Frank is the man. She comes from the hardware business.
