    1. Miriam Parkinson Says:

I was diagnosed with Depression when I was 5 so I know where you’re coming from with this stuff. I find that if a standard exercise session won’t get the endorphines high enough then a spinning class will do the trick. There’s something about the environment that makes me push myself to the limit so I’m high as a kite for a good couple of hours after.

Adrenaline sports make you feel better for about a week but you come down hard from that one. Even non-depressed people can get short periods of depression coming off those levels of adrenaline.

    2. Ralf Says:

      Hi Cameron
I really cannot understand why you could be depressed :]. My biggest dream in life is to start my own web business and not having to go to work everyday to be ordered by someone else whose knowledge is half of mine. Having a well paid job and buying a big house is by no extent better than being independent. As you’ve said, you influence the lives of many people as a network and I think it would’ve been a big loss if you hadn’t started TPN. Cheers and keep up the great work.

    3. Cameron Reilly Says:

Thanks Ralf, I appreciate the sentiment. Yeah it was my dream for years as well, and I really feel privileged to have this opportunity. But sometimes I look at the sacrifice that my family has made and question how selfish it is for me to pursue *my* dream of being my own boss and doing something with my life, rather than just sticking to the safe route, giving them a comfortable existence, instead of having to watch every penny for years and years.

Now… don’t listen to my whining. Go make YOUR dream come true. Believe in yourself. If I can do it, anyone can.

    4. Hugo Says:

Don’t want to break the happy dream thread but my mate found his dad after he committed suicide and now there’s one word that will haunt him for the rest of his life - “why”?

    5. Cameron Reilly Says:

yeah Hugo as I said in the show, the impact a suicide must have on the family and friends left behind is tragic. I cannot imagine how you could leave your body behind for family to discover.

    6. scientaestubique Says:

I’ve lost several friends and family to suicide and people are well aware of the pain it will cause, but they are in so much pain of their own, they hope for understanding and forgiveness.

    7. Cameron Reilly Says:

Scienta, I understand that might sometimes be the case but surely if you were concerned with the people you were leaving behind you’d take yourself off somewhere out of the way and leave a note. The ones I don’t understand are the ones that are done with no note and where family will be the ones to find them first.

    8. Andy Says:

Another great show Cam. Not much to add to watch has already been written except you hit many chords with me throughout the show.

I have many podcast feeds and always swear I will get around to listening to them all. Of course this never happens and I can go weeks without listening to any podcasts. The thing is when I do get back into listening mode the first thing I find myself doing is catching up with all the past GDAY World shows.. and as a consequence I never catch up with the rest.

It was very interesting listening to the sacrifices you have been through to start your business.

      Good luck for the future

    9. scientaestubique Says:

Cam - those are definately the hardest, but the notes aren’t much help either and some of them can make things worse.
