Facebook hacked??
It’s currently 7.50pm in Australia, 1.50am US PDT. Facebook has been down for the last ten minutes. According to an entry in the Wikipedia profile for Facebook:
IT WAS RECENTLY HACKED BY CHRIS DOHERTY ON TUESDAY 31ST JULY. MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFECTED, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE UK. CHRIS DOHERTY PROCLAIMED, “NOW PEOPLE MAY SEE THAT I AM THE TRUE CREATOR!”

Or maybe its because I told everybody in twitter how to access the facebook RSS feeds.

… and is there a connection between the question of whether Facebook has been hacked and the large number of Facebook users who’ve had their accounts disabled recently?

Dunno Alex. The stuff about being hacked has been taken out of the Wiki entry and Facebook seems to have been fine ever since. Where did you hear people have had their accounts disabled?

Clay Cook (minti) had his account disabled. He was talking about it on twitter.

Hi Cameron.
Quite a few links out there to people having their accounts disabled. I’ve just had mine disabled for no reason. I’ve *never* had anything like this happen in all the years of using the web.
