Remember that New York ad agency that sued a small time blogger when he picked up some mistakes in one of their campaigns for Boston? If you don’t, you can read my post on it at the time (April 06).
What did the blogger, Dutson, do? He criticized Maine’s tourism office, which hired New York [...]

Paul Ryan asked me to write a story for the June/July issue of Anthill about digital media and entrepreneurship. I ended up writing something about how it seems to me that digital media entrepreneurs require a higher code of ethics, a higher vision, than your run-of-the-mill online entrepreneurs. According to the BBC, “the authorities” have finally killed AllOfMp3… about a year after everyone stopped using it and migrated to other services. Apparently MP3Sparks.com is run by the same folks who brought you AllOfMp3. They do look very similar….

Ryan Sholin wrote this post “10 obvious things about the future of newspapers you need to get through your head” on June 2 about the future of newspapers. It ended up on the front page of TechMeme and obviously struck a chord with lots of people. So I invited him onto the show to [...]

I had a terrific time at The Domain event in Melbourne last night. Full congrats to Sally and Deb for putting it on and to Brad “Best Technology Industry Journalist” Howarth for his interview with Aussie digital media pioneer Domenic Carosa from Destra. I’ve known Dom for quite a few years now but have never [...]

While I was working out today I watched “Land Of The Dead“, George Romero’s 2005 4th zombie flick, starring Aussie actor Simon Baker, Dennis Hopper, Asia Argento and John Leguizamo. What a great way to pass a couple of hours of otherwise-boring exercise.
Two things I loved in particular with the “Making Of” doco.
1. [...]

On episode 214 I have Rich and Gra from Scouta on the line. As most of you will know, Rich and Gra used to be podcasters on TPN before they selfishly and wantonly deserted me to run their own start-up. Do I hold a grudge? Do I ever. I’m like Tony Montana. Don’t cross me. [...]
